Bridget Bartley Desjarlais, the creative force behind Desjarlais Designs, has been a costume and fashion designer, artist and photographer for her entire life. Like many talented women, she was taught to sew by her grandmother as a young girl and after hemming and repairing hundreds of her doll's clothes and then family garments, she began altering and creating the characters and fashion she saw in her head. Whether it is period correct or fantastical in spirit, Bridget believes the dress should be more than a portrayal of the tone and era, it should allow vision and entertainment.

Bridget has found success and accolades with her design, manufacturing and fulfilling of a vision from sketch to completion on set.
